Step 6

Estate Planning

Choosing your

Estate Planning Lawyer

We are often astounded when we see people's existing legal documents are not appropriate. Often there is a lack of detail, no consideration of asset protection, no consideration of protection of an inheritance that is going to be left to children, no management of control of entities like trusts, no addressing issues if someone loses capacity and how do we deal with banks.

Life has got complex. As a result of significant increase in wealth people need to invest the time, effort and money to get it right. We are all going to die at some point, so it has to be dealt with.

I always say, you wouldn't go to your GP to have heart surgery. The same is the case with Estate Planning. You shouldn't go to your local Solicitor for your Estate Planning, you should go to an Estate Planning specialist.

When we work with clients, we will only work with two Estate Planning Solicitors that we have identified are absolute experts. Of course, it is up to you as to who you use, but it really is important to make sure that you choose the right person.
