The Legacy Letter

The original 'Dear Mary' Letter. Your opportunity to says all the things you'd never want to be left unsaid. All your heartfelt thoughts and words of comfort for those left behind. This is our most often requested form.

This is your chance to write your Executor's Agenda, or what we used to refer to as the Dear Mary or the Dear Bruce Letter.

Here's your chance to make sure nothing is left unsaid. This is actually one of my favourite letters and is fundamental to the human elements of the whole estate process that we take people through. This is the one thing that most people ask to do and that's why I'm so excited to be going through this letter here today.

Our objective is for you to complete some heartfelt instructions for your loved ones to make things easier for them when you're not around. As I said before, to ensure that nothing is left unsaid. That there is nothing left unsaid for all the important people in your life, your spouse, your children, parents, family members, business partners. Here's your opportunity to write your final messages, your wishes, the advice that you have for your loved ones, for your children and so on.

This process is to help you write one page or as many lines as you'd like for your spouse and your children. You can write about things such as my favourite memories are, you were special to me because, to mention places visited, experiences shared, and so on. Places I'd like you to visit, things I'd like you to do, please tell the children, please tell my family, my advice for you and so on.

There's some of the prompts you might like to use when you’re putting this letter together. To think about what you'd like to say. As I keep saying, so nothing is left unsaid for those that you love and those that you care about.

Some people use video to record this, or a voice recorder, it doesn't matter, but make sure your children, your spouse, your family knows what it is that you wish for.

The next form is for the intent you would like for each of the members of your family. What outcome would you like for each of the groups in your family? Some space there for you to think about that as well.
